Ladies Who Tech (LWT) was started by women who are in the technology industry and believe in challenging the status quo by encouraging more women to assist and discover their potential in technology. We want to raise awareness of the lack of women in the technology industry and help companies to have more diversity.

Jill Tang - Co-Founder of Ladies Who Tech
Jill was born in Shanghai, assembled in Australia. She is a social influencer and regular speaker on international education and career, craft beer and entrepreneurship in China.
As an "Engagement Engineer", she designs and build compelling ways for businesses and people to engage with one another, learn, and make smart choices. Whether the area is HR or something completely different such as craft beer.
Jill holds Bachelor of Commerce from Latrobe University, Master of Applied Finance from Monash University and MBA from Melbourne Business School.
Charlene Liu - Co-Founder of Ladies Who Tech
Charlene was born in Malaysia and has lived in the US, Singapore, and now Shanghai. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. An engineer by training, she has worked in different areas of the semiconductor industry for the past 19 years.
She started Ladies Who Tech to build a community of women who will encourage and support women in the technology profession.
Cherlene Ye - The Marketing Lady
Asian born in Holland, Cherlene is passionate about traveling, digital marketing and granola. From Auckland to Amsterdam and the last 4 years in Shanghai, she's practiced Digital Marketing for 6 years across half the globe. She wants to specialize in markets all over the world and one day start her own granola company.
Cindy Gottinger - Chief Evangelist
Cindy is a experienced sales and marketing professional with expertise in leveraging emerging technology to drive higher return on investment and business transformation.
Before joining Google, Cindy was a brand manager at Volkswagen Group China where she was responsible for building the brand Skoda for Chinese consumers.
Her interest in technology is driven by her curiosity to understand how emerging technology are changing our experience as consumers and the efficiencies and innovations that can be realized in business.
Lin Tao - The Event Lady
Lin is the Co-Founder of Shanghai Q-Events Co. Ltd., a leading event agency providing total on-ground solutions through creating positive experiences.
She was born in Shanghai and graduated from Shanghai University in journalism. She also has professional background in music performance and education.
Before Lin founded Q-Events, she also worked in F&B management and operation, and movie and retail industries. She has experiences in project management and operation as well as onsite execution. She has led few projects in US and Hong Kong, and granted much success.
Petra Mo - The Creative Lady
Czech by birth, Wanderlust by choice. Currently feels like Shanghai-nese. Growing up in artistic and technical environment gave her the passion for design and tech, naturally the best case is the combination of both. The digital kid, proud millennial. Later curiosity for innovations immersed her into local startup scene. Petra does not need an alarm clock - ideas wake her. Creative ARTtitude and detail obsession is her daily bread and butter.
